Consultation on Future Charging Scheme Models

We have opened Phase 1 of the Charging Scheme Consultation and invite your feedback on two proposed models for the annual fee, which represents the significant majority of the RIPE NCC’s income.

Phase 1 focuses on how the annual fee, which is paid by every member, will be calculated.

We invite you to review and comment on the two draft models: a category-based model (Model A) and a formula-based model (Model B).

We have provided interactive calculators so you can test each model using your own resource holdings or test different scenarios.

Feedback we're looking for

We are particularly interested in your feedback on how the models work in practice.

Please share your views on how suitable these models are, whether they are fair, easy to understand, and whether their structures make sense for our membership.
